How to Post a Video

Before you can post a video you must first have an approved account. If you do not have an approved account you can contact me via the contact page. If I approve you for a submitters account you will receive an e-mail with log on instructions.

Rules:
I’ll keep it simple:
1. No crap
2. No surfer uploaded content. You must be a webmaster with right to use content posted.
3. You must host content on your own hosting service. Do not upload content to my server.
4. Each post must contain a link to the sponsor who owns that content. Links can be banner or text and should contain your sponsor codes.
5. Please provide a link to Purveyor of Porn from one of your sites in the same niche as your submitting from

Adding a Video

The instructions below were copied verbatim from the theme developers site. The only modifications I have made were to get everything to look right in a page.

Adding a video to a post works by adding “Custom Fields“. Enter the following Keys for the respective videos types: any, custom, youtube, metacafe, dailymotion, blip, veoh, vimeo, myspace, break, liveleak.

Then in the Value field add only the code of the video. Usually very easy to find in the address bar of the video you want to add.

Examples:

If the video you wanted embed into your post was: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbgySMqRO1Y

* Key: youtube
* Value: vbgySMqRO1Y

If you wanted to embed anything into your post use the embed code the service provides:

* Key: any
* Value: Enter the embed code provided by the sponsor

Please note that the height and width will get replaced by a predefined amounts.

If you wanted to embed your own hosted FLV video into your post use the direct url along with adding a image still before the video plays:

* Key: custom
* Value: http:///wp-content/videos/video.flv
* Key: start_image
* Value: http:///video-player.jpg

Please note that the video does not need to have any predefined directory, just a direct address.

Notes:
I was having problems with .wmv files but I’m not sure what the problem was. If you have any problems with your video not showing, let me know.
